    The medical biochemical genetics fellowship is a one year ABMGG-accredited fellowship open to those who have completed a residency in medical genetics. This fellowship offers specialized training in inpatient and outpatient biochemical genetics with the renowned clinical faculty of the McKusick-Nathans Institute of Genetic Medicine, clinical laboratory experiences in the Maryland State Newborn Screening Laboratory and at the Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Biochemical Genetics Laboratory, and dedicated time for independent research.
